So you've just received your new watch, first things first; thank you and welcome to Pompeak!

Before you get started, here are a few quick tips and tricks to get you started and help you make the most out of your new watch:

  • Unboxing
  • Setting the time and date
  • The chronograph features
  • Changing the straps

1. UNBOXING

Whether it's a gift from someone else or a treat for yourself, the first exciting part is opening the box, removing the protective covers and that sweet satisfying sound that comes with it peeling the film from the glass. Now the experience will change slightly depending on if you have been treated to either a metallic or leather strap, but here is a short video to highlight the key points:

2. SETTING THE TIME & DATE

Without knowing how to do this your watch becomes just a (good looking) bracelet.

You'll notice the crown of the watch pulls out in two stages: the first position when the crown is half way out, and the second position with the crown all the way out.

To set the time: simply pull the crown out to the second position and turn clockwise until the dial matches the correct time.

To set the date: pull the crown to the first position and turn anti-clockwise until the date indicator matches the current date.

3. THE CHRONOGRAPH

One of the highlights of our Debut Collection is the chronograph: Yes it looks great, but it's also functional. With a center chronograph second hand for real life usability and subtle markings to maintain the minimalist style.

With the crown fully pressed in, use the button A to start/stop the chronograph hands, and button B to reset to origin.

To change the origin position of the chronograph second hand, pull the crown out to the second position and use button A to move the second hands origin.

4. CHANGING STRAPS

This one is for those of you with our interchangeable leather straps, featuring a hidden quick release system. Our metallic straps are a little trickier to remove so we won't be covering that here.

To remove the leather straps, simply turn the watch so the back is facing you and use the quick release buttons on each strap.

To replace the straps simply reverse the process.

Thank you for taking the time to read this quick start guide, hopefully it has answered any questions you may have had.
